Giấy tờ cá nhân chưa yêu cầu hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự để sử dụng ở Việt Nam

Bộ Tư pháp Việt Nam vừa ban hành Công văn số 2421/HTQTCT-CT ngày 11/5/2015 hướng dẫn thực hiện tạm thời một số quy định mới về công chứng - chứng thực giấy tờ cá nhân chưa yêu cầu hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự để sử dụng ở Việt Nam quy định tại Nghị định số 23/2015/NĐ-CP trong thời gian chờ ban hành Thông tư quy định chi tiết.

Theo đó, đối với những loại giấy tờ do cơ quan thẩm quyền nước ngoài cấp cho cá nhân để sử dụng nhiều lần như: Hộ chiếu, Thẻ thường trú, Thẻ cư trú, Văn bằng, Chứng chỉ, Giấy phép lái xe…, khi chứng thực bản sao từ bản chính không phải hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự

Quy định này là một cải cách vượt bật trong thủ thục hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự các giấy tờ được cấp ở nước để sử dụng ở Việt Nam

Could you tell me the procedure for authenticating my U.S.A. marriage certificate for use in applying for a work permit exemption in Vietnam? I will be working as an Australian volunteer in Vietnam. My husband will accompany me. I would like my husband to have a work permit exemption for the 18 months of my assignment. I am a dual USA/Australian and my husband is an Australian citizen. We were married in the USA. I have a State of Michigan Apostille/Exemplified copy of our marriage certificate with gold seal of the State of Michigan signed by the Secretary of State, Michigan. Will this be recognised by the Vietnamese government or do I need to send it to U.S. Department of State Authentications Office for the seal of the U.S. Department of State? or do I send it directly to the Vietnamese Embassy in Washington DC? Because both Vietnam and USA are State Members if the Hague Apostle Convention, will Vietnam accept my State of Michigan Marriage Apostle without U.S. Department of State seal?
